« Nicklaus shows you're never too old to try a new style »

Nicklaus wore the Ecco Golf Street in a black / grey colorway.

This just in, the ECCO Golf Street is a popular shoe.

In other news, water is wet. Now that we're done stating the obvious, it's important to bear witness to the following missive. If you're of a certain age, you might be of the mind that you are beyond the point of being able to successfully style the most mainstream of the alternative golf shoe movement. Oh, pshaw!

For anyone, of any age, who thinks that they must stick with a traditional look when it comes to golf footwear, take this video style tip from the greatest golfer of all time, Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus not only went with short pants (!) early last week at the Els for Autism Golf Challenge at PGA National, be he also sported wore the ECCO Golf Street.

Also, make note of the videographer -- none other than US Open champion Graeme McDowell.

Chapeau Noir's only quibble with Jack's new shoe look? The need for a pair of no show socks. Kentwool and Swiftwick both offer high end low profile products that would do the trick.
