In what is the dream contest for armchair golf fashion designers, Travis Mathew is asking everyone to submit their designs for a polo that Bubba Watson will wear during the 2011 US Open. Chapeau Noir will repeat, just in case it's not clear -- we are not being asked to simply choose his polo, but to design it.

It's easy for the likes of Chapeau Noir to simply sit back and criticize designs, as he is wont to do, but Travis Mathew is now giving the opportunity to all armchair designers, Chapeau Noir included, the chance to put up or shut up. Travis Mathew must be admired for putting their brand on the line to a certain extent, as there are no guarantees that any of the submissions will be worthy of carrying the Travis Mathew label.

The winning designer will win a trip for two to the 2011 US Open, and the winning design will also be sold as a limited edition piece on the Travis Mathew online store.
