« Frugal Belt Quest Success »

In what some might report as an upset, tonight Chapeau Noir reports on the purchase of a brown Canterbury Golf belt, for the grand sum of $50 from Golf Town, chosen over favored J Lindeberg and Dunning models - granted, from the 2009 collection.

The Canterbury Golf belt nicely compliments a new pair of tan Glen Check trousers from Hollas, and proves that more often than not, a frugal purchase is a guiltless purchase.

Chapeau Noir was hard pressed to lay down $200 CDN for a 2009 J Lindeberg or even $90 for the 2009 Dunning.

Even had they been 2010 models, the purchase of such a luxury, albeit a moderate one, would have been made with more than lingering sense of guilt, especially with an oft broken down lawn mower hinting that it's on its last legs, and a wonky audio cable interfering with game six of the Stanley Cup Playoffs - which turned out to be a faulty cable box issue costing zero dollars for a hardware exchange but a number of hours spent troubleshooting in frustration.

If you're in the market for a new belt and have a bit of the Scot in you, be sure check out the Canterbury Golf belt offerings.
