« The Curious Case of Pelle Edberg & Other Tales »
Headgear Trendsetter or Emergency Ward Escapee?
When you're not able get out and hit it on a Saturday morning, it pays to keep an eye on Golf Channel's coverage of the Euro Tour. Case in point, Pelle Edberg, who looked more like an accident victim who had wandered away from the emergency ward due to his concussive state than he did a golfer.

A closer look. (Photo by Stuart Franklin/Getty Images Europe)Somehow, Chapeau Noir was digging Edberg's interpretive headgear, a brilliant white spandex number emblazoned with the Mizuno logo. But what was this thing? Was it an arm warmer? A neck warmer? A leg warmer?
A closer look reveals that it might be some sort of compression material suitable for treating a sprained ankle. Perhaps sometimes there are some things in heaven and earth we're just meant not to know.
The Stylish, Untucked Swede
Remember the days when the best way to get the girl was to pretend that you had absolutely no interest in the girl?
While that strategy remains open to debate for some, for Fredrick Jacobsen, that seems to be the way he treats his 'relationship' with golf clothes. On the surface, Jacobsen gives us the impression that he doesn't really care how he looks, thus creating a great look.
Don't try this at home, unless of course you're wearing a great line like Fredrick Jacobsen does in Peak Performance.
If The Boot Fits
Adam Scott w
Adam Scott pulls with all his might in Polo RLX. (Photo by Marc Feldman/Getty Images North America) as once again low-key in Polo RLX this week, but not so low-key with his game, which displayed a return to form that surprised many.
Surprising no one is that the much delayed announcement of his association with the aforementioned Polo RLX line continues.
Marketing alliances such as these do not necessarily come together quickly. More often than not, a myriad of stakeholders impact the timing of such announcements, all in the interest of maximizing consumer impact.
At the end of the day, Polo RLX and Scott should prove to be an exciting match.
On another note, with his victory, Scott did his level best to pull on the ceremonial cowboy boot, but it doesn't look like he succeeded. You know what they say about cowboys with big feet? Big boots. (Get you mind out the gutter.)
Surf's Up
As noted by @robertmatre, an ultra-fine photog with a keen eye for golf form and fashion, James Driscoll has undergone a transformation from his buttoned up Brooks Brothers days to the markedly sportier, longer haired surfer boy look he sports these days
With the longer, shaggier locks Driscoll could be the best adidas Golf brand rep out there at the moment, but his new look takes some getting used to.
