« Button Up, Buttercup »
Chapeau Noir is not quite sure what to make of a sloppy trend that bears watching on the PGA Tour - the inability of some players to button up their polos to an acceptable level.
A perfect plackard is a simple combination of presentation and comfort, but some chaps are taking the comfort level a bit too far.

While this may not be a comfortable feeling for everyone, Bubba's neat and tidy finish is certainly preferable to what we are seeing from the likes of Anthony Kim in Nike and Bryce Molder in Hollas this weekend at the Shell Houston Open.
Some would also argue that South African Charl Schwartzel could use a higher neckline as well, but when you have a Tom Selleck-like chest carpet, you shouldn't be shy about it.
The Schwartz aside, in some cases it takes minimum effort to make yourself presentable, and this is one of those cases. After all, fixing one or two extra buttons isn't asking too much.
CNG Style Notes
Anthony Kim went sans big belt on Saturday, but the gaudy bling returned to action on Sunday. While Chapeau Noir never roots against any player, there was some desire to see Vaughan Taylor win. A win for Taylor would have put the smooth swinging Augusta, GA native in a small tournament this week held annually in his home town, and also may have served Kim with the karma required to ditch the big buckle...
Either DJ Trahan was wearing trousers in a the most horrid rusty-orange color of all time, or it's time for Chapeau Noir to replace his first generation rear-projection HDTV...
As noted during CNG's coverage of the Arnold Palmer Bay Hill Invitational, Kevin Na is officially an IZOD G man. Na will officially debut the reintroduced IZOD G label at the Masters...
PGA Tour rookie Graham Delaet from Canada finished T3 wearing J Lindeberg, and went with a Canadian flag color schemed kit in the final round with a brilliant red polo and white trousers. CNG was moderately disappointed he didn't putt with a hockey stick eh.
