CNG In The Press

Chapeau Noir has provided insight on golf fashion trends in the following publications:

"It's generally accepted that if you look good, you feel good - which can then translate into playing better golf," he says.

Compleat Golfer (South Africa) - August 2010 - A Flash In The Pants

"When choosing your belt buckle, feel free to express your personality, but be honest with yourself in regard to your personal dimensions. Gents a dessert or two over 36 inches in the waist should try to avoid larger-scale buckles... there's no need to draw attention to an already prominent area."

Some news and notes from Chapeau Noir's increasingly busy desk…

Click to become a friend of Q'aja on Facebook!…Chapeau Noir had a very nice conversation with Tony Q'aja of Q'aja Couture fame via the interwebs just yesterday, and Tony hinted that Chapeau Noir readers should keep an eye out for a new online shop that the master tailor is working on. Tony also hinted at plans for a new technical range to compliment the existing custom tailoring option, and of a plan to bring his fabulous range to North American shores.

Bring it on Tony!…

…Signs of new life continue from IZOD as they continue to rebuild their presence in North America. You may have noticed IZOD as the new presenting sponsor of the Indy Car Series for 2010, and now comes news of a planned re- launch of the IZOD G range of golf wear. The 'G' in IZOD G stands for 'Generation' and not golf as one might imagine, but be sure to keep an eye out for the new line as it returns to the United States and Canada for fall 2010. Look for the new offerings in your local green grass shops along with golf and general sporting goods and specialty stores. Heads up not to confuse IZOD and Lacoste, though you're not wrong, it was once IZOD Lacoste

…Some must-share golf related blogs Chapeau Noir now follows: don't miss the stylings of Bunker Mentality Ambassador Pat Bristow, who is also the proprietor of Golf Funk over on the Facebook. For another thoroughly entertaining read that oozes both attitude and style check out Dude, Where's My Par? Bookmark worthy if only for the blog title…

…Next, while you're over on the Facebook, it behooves to become a Friend of Q'aja. And while you're at it become a friend of Black Hat as well. You will have no regrets, at least not in regard to any of these suggestions.
