« The Return Of Chapeau Noir »
Chapeau Noir has returned from the Laurentian ski region in Quebec, having taken a much needed break for Christmas and New Year, which gave Chapeau Noir ample time to reflect on 2009. The highlight of the year for Chapeau Noir was of course the launch of chapeaunoirgolf.com in late September, leading in to the Presidents Cup, which garnered much traffic for the site.
Duffy Waldorf displaying his unique sense of 'style'.From the Presidents Cup onward, chapeaunoirgolf.com readership blossomed, not entirely unlike the shirts once worn by one Duffy Waldorf, but in a good way.
Speaking of readership, I have had many a kind note from chapeaunoirgolf.com patrons, each of which greatly appreciated, including this particularly well crafted note from Brandon:
"I love the blog, particularly the Presidents Cup coverage. I hope that your faithful readers will be treated to a similar gift come Masters time this Spring. The guys tend to pull out all the fashion stops at the year's first major and I can think of no one better to document and critique the proceedings."
Chapeau Noir couldn't agree more with Brandon, as The Masters will be a big event here at chapeaunoirgolf.com! Not only is early April the perfect time for young ladies to show of their new Easter bonnets and frocks, the golfing gentlemen always have some new reveals to which we can look forward.
Also, at this time of the year, and in this part of the world, knowing that The Masters is just three months away keeps slim hope alive that one day the frozen tundra will return to the required brilliant greenery.
Chapeau Noir is pleased to be back in the fold for 2010 and hopes to continue to be your choice for all golf apparel news and insights.
