« antigua spring 2010 catalog touts proprietary technology »
Antigua, who counts Billy Mayfair, Notah Begay and Brittany Lang among their tour staff, celebrates their 30th anniversary by taking a bite of a cool and rainy fall day with the release of their Spring 2010 catalog.
A few sporty designs can be found within, specifically the Rival and Instinct shirts. Of more interest for Antigua in 2010 is the introduction of a proprietary new technology, the Desert Dry Xtra-Lite (D2XL) fabrics in its Spring 2010 men's and women's golf-apparel lines.
Speaking direct from experience, I have worn three Antigua shirts this season, all with the previous Desert Dry incarnation, and they were fantastic. If Antigua has improved on this fabric, it will be a great shirt to have in 2010.
The Desert Dry Xtra-lite (D2XL) does as the name implies, lightens the fabric, traps less heat, and provides less restriction on movement, all while wicking that pesky moisture away.
For the environmentally sensitive audience out there, Antigua hasn't forgotten you either with Desert Dry Bamboo, a combination of the proven Desert Dry fabric with environmentally freindly bamboo.
No word on if you can chew the shirt for fibrous benefits if you get hungry during your round. Check out the Antigua Spring 2010 catalog here.
