Nike Golf gets feature-specific with Tiger's 2013 PGA Championship apparel
For the better part of four years, well before it was the 'fashionable' thing to do, CNG has tracked golf's major, and even the not so major, championship apparel scripts.
With the 2013 PGA Championship upon us, not only did Nike Golf issue the now defacto myriad of apparel scripts on a player-by-player basis, but they've taken the next step to provide very specific detail on the shirt Tiger Woods is wearing today as he attempts to build on the momentum of last week's win at Firestone.
Tiger Woods is wearing the TW Designer Print Polo in Light Armory Blue ($95), on Thursday at the 2013 PGA Championship.
Tiger's Thursday shirt, the TW Designer Print Polo in Light Armory Blue ($95), comes with Nike's standard Dri-FIT technology to wick away sweat, while mesh panels for enhanced breathability and a laser-perforated collar for increased ventilation work to keep Woods cool while reducing overall weight. Nike Golf has build this shirt using something they call a 'posture performance kimono and mobility chassis' to maximize range of motion. A snap-button front placket with color-block detail rounds out the feature set.
What, no bluetooth or built-in navigation? Hmm. Perhaps come the 2014 collection.
